Kruja: stone lanes and a wider horizon.
Give the day to the old bazaar and the castle above it. History becomes easier to take in when you leave time between the stops.

Take the bazaar slowly
Follow the cobbled approach to Kruja Castle through the old bazaar. Wooden shopfronts, woven textiles and metalwork give the walk its texture. Browse slowly, ask about the pieces that catch your eye, and enjoy the craft as much as the possibility of a souvenir.
Look beyond the walls
Above the bazaar, the hilltop castle brings Kruja’s connection with Skanderbeg into view. Its museum gives that history a place to unfold. Step outside between the stories and take in the setting; the open horizon is part of what makes the visit linger.
Make a day of the small moments
Leave space between the bazaar and the castle for lunch, a coffee and a second look at a favourite corner. Kruja rewards a day that has breathing room. A handmade detail or a view over the town may become the memory you take home.
